Bowler
The man with the famous moustache completed another fine season for the Hurricanes in BBL|10, using his ferocious pace on every occasion to terrify opposing batsman.
The Hobart local finished with 16 wickets with a strike rate of 18.88, including a blistering 3-21 against the Renegades. Alongside Boland and Ellis, Meredith’s raw pace with the ball sets him apart as a wicket danger every ball and will no doubt cause headaches again this coming season.
Recently part of the Australian T20 side that played New Zealand (where Meredith picked up the prize wicket of Kiwi Kane Williamson), the pace bowler can no doubt look forward to further international opportunities in the future.
