Get your rainbow flags ready! One of the Hurricanes' most-loved matches on the WBBL calendar is back for WBBL12, with the club confirming its home match against the Brisbane Heat on Saturday 14 November as this season's Pride Round fixture.
This announcement comes just in time for WBBL12 tickets going on sale on 6th August.

Pride Round celebrates what Pride means to individuals, families and communities across Tasmania. Hurricanes and Heat players will be at the heart of the celebrations, with activations and entertainment around the ground giving fans the opportunity to get involved and show their support to the LGBTQIA+ community.
In last years’ statement from the club, they explained what pride round means to them as an organisation:

The Hurricanes will also welcome back one of the club's most popular matches for families, with the return of Fill the Hill on Saturday 21 November. Taking place at the conclusion of the Hobart Christmas Pageant, the match provides the perfect opportunity for families to continue the festivities with an afternoon of cricket at Ninja Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to bring their Christmas spirit, find a spot on the hill, and help create a fantastic atmosphere as the Hurricanes take to the field for their final regular season home match.
The WBBL12 season begins with a special homecoming celebration for the Hurricanes' WBBL11 championship-winning team, with fans able to welcome back the reigning champions when they host the Melbourne Renegades in their first home match of the season on Tuesday 4 November.
