Continuing their two-game away trip to Victoria, the Hobart Hurricanes return to action tomorrow night against the Melbourne Renegades.
The Hurricanes will be looking to bounce back after Thursday night’s defeat to the Melbourne Stars at the MCG.
Batting first in challenging conditions, the Hurricanes posted 9-158 from their 20 overs, with Ben McDermott top-scoring with 69 off 52 balls.
Despite a great effort, the total proved at least 20 runs short as the Stars chased it down with four overs to spare, as Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain claimed his first wickets for the ‘Cane Train.
Tomorrow’s squad remains unchanged from the Stars clash, with the same travelling group set to take on the Renegades.
Jake Weatherald and Beau Webster are still unavailable due to Ashes commitments but are expected to return after the fifth Test..
