Following the announcement of the Australian Men's T20I squad for their tour of the West Indies in July, the Hurricanes are proud to have three players from their BBL|14 squad selected.
Hurricanes Captain Nathan Ellis, big-hitter Tim David, and young All-Rounder Mitch Owen all receiving selection on the tour.
Receiving his first call up to the Australian men's side is Tasmanian Mitch Owen, fresh off his BBL|14 heroics, along with appearances in T20 tournaments in South Africa, Pakistan and India, Owen could be given his first Australian cap next month in the West Indies.
It what has been a whirlwind 12 months for Owen, his selection in the squad will fill Tasmanians with pride having watched his growth and development last summer.
Ellis and David have been long-term members of the Australian T20 squad, and will continue to play a crucial role for this team as we move towards a 2026 T20 World Cup.
