Crucial Clash for 'Canes

01 January 2017

The Hobart Hurricanes are set to play their second home match at Blundstone Arena when they take on the Adelaide Strikers from 7.10pm tomorrow night.

The Hurricanes will be keen for a win at home in front of another big crowd, with both teams 1 win and 2 losses so far in BBL06 making this a crucial match for both teams.

Coach Damien Wright said there are a huge couple of games coming up that are critical for the Hurricanes BBL|06 season.

Despite two losses Wright says there is no need to panic after just three games and says his side need to stay calm and back each other going into a big game at home on Monday.

“The last two matches have been disappointing but we are staying positive and we are doing everything we can to be ready for tomorrow night’s clash,” Wright said.

Hurricanes selectors have made one change to the squad from Brisbane with local Beau Webster coming into the 13-man line-up for tomorrow night, replacing Ben McDermott.

The match will start at 7.10pm tomorrow night and it will be broadcast live on WIN TV (Tasmania) and Channel 10.

With tickets still remaining, fans are encouraged to pre-purchase their ticket to avoid disappointment after the Boxing Day Match was a sell out.
