The back story
Launceston was superb for the Hurricanes all-round, securing two wins from across the WBBL and BBL at the University of Tasmania Stadium.
The BBL side has returned to Hobart in search of five wins from five starts and, with results being mixed in other matches across the league, the opportunity to gain some breathing space at the league's summit presents itself under some smoke-hazed skies tonight.
Johan Botha - facing his former side that he captained one stage tonight, spoke of the need to remain level-headed and calm with media yesterday despite the blistering his start #TasmaniasTeam have made.
The Sixers, in-line with a few other sides look to be finding their best cricket following a slow start.
Jordan Silk provides a Tasmanian flavour to those in pink and will prove to be a key player as he leads their runs so far.
Let's take a look at this one more closely to determine a winner...
Hobart Hurricanes vs. Sydney Sixers

LIVE on Seven and Fox Cricket
Hurricanes squad: Matthew Wade (C), Jofra Archer, George Bailey, Johan Botha, Alex Doolan, Jake Doran, James Faulkner, Ben McDermott, Riley Meredith, Simon Milenko, David Moody, Clive Rose, D'Arcy Short.

We couldn't have started BBL|08 much better, and there's a growing perception that we look to be a settled and near-complete unit each time we take the field.
Our bowlers are backing themselves to achieve and doing just that, with 19 wickets coming from Jofra Archer, James Faulkner and Riley Meredith through four matches.
The top order with the bat... led by D'Arcy Short and Matthew Wade and capped by Alex Doolan's 41* not out last game are yet to fail and will have the opportunity to enjoy each other's company a little longer following their non-selection in the Australian ODI squad.
The Sixers are seeking their third win on the bounce and possess a nice mix of proven match-winners and up and comers.
Josh Philippe, Jack Edwards and Lloyd Pope to complement the more-heralded names of Sean Abbott, Moises Henriques and Jordan Silk who have all had their moments in the early going.
Last time we met
40 to D'Arcy Short and Matthew Wade got us to a competitive total of 170 on our home deck last time we faced the Sixers back in January.
Dan Christian's late cameo of 27* from 14 deliveries proved to be key in a five-run victory as was his bowling, by far our best bowler securing 1/27 from a tight four overs.
A road trip. And quite a lengthy one at that.
The Hurricanes next home game falls on Tuesday 29 January before we're up in Launceston again two days later.
