The Hobart Hurricanes proudly announce the signing of Jarrod Freeman to its squad for the remainder of the KFC BBL|08 season.
Cricket Australia's Technical Committee has approved the addition of Freeman in place of the now-retired Johan Botha.
18-year-old Freeman joins the squad following an impressive Under 19 National Championships in Adelaide last month through which he was selected for the Australian Under 19's recent tour of Sri Lanka.
Freeman was also part of Australia's 2018 Under 19 World Cup squad and made his Sheffield Shield debut for Tasmania in February 2018.
The talented all-rounder comes straight into the Hurricanes' squad of 13 for tomorrow's match with the Brisbane Heat at Blundstone Arena.
The squad is as follows:
Matthew Wade (C)
Head Coach: Adam Griffith
Senior Assistant Coach: Jeff Vaughan
Assistant Coach: Ben Rohrer
