Hobart Hurricanes combine with Move Well Eat Well to offer a Student Leadership Workshop

28 March 2017

The Hobart Hurricanes today hosted nine schools who are part of the Move Well Eat Well program for a student leadership session.

Move Well Eat Well is made up of six healthy messages and works to promote a healthy lifestyle, made up of healthy living and physical activity.

The Hurricanes have partnered up with the program to reward 17 participating schools from around the state with a half-day session, learning about all things leadership and of course all things Hurricanes. The session included a chat from the Hobart Hurricanes Player Development Manager, Junior Participation Specialist and a workshop including some physical activities that the kids could take back and implement into their Daily Physical Activity (Daily PE) classes as student leaders.

The skills that student leaders learn and practice through programs like Daily PE are skills that you can use in many parts of life, whether it be school, work or cricket.
