The Hobart Hurricanes are delighted England captain, Heather Knight, will re-join its women's squad ahead of the rebel WBBL|04 season.
Knight - who is leading England's T20 side in the West Indies, will pull on the purple come December following the ICC World T20 tournament.
The right-handed batter who also bowls handy off-spin averages 16.6 with the willow in T20 International cricket at a strike rate of 112. Knight also averages over 30 in both One-Day International and Test Cricket for England.
During the WBBL|02 season with the Hurricanes, Knight made 334 runs in 14 innings at an average of 25.6 and a highest score of 69.
"I loved my previous years playing in Hobart, it's a beautiful place with a great group of girls."
"I'm looking forward to pulling back on the purple and hopefully having some more success with the team."
New Hurricanes Women's Head Coach, Salliann Briggs, is thrilled her compatriot is headed for Hobart.
"Heather is going to bring a massive amount of valuable experience to our Hurricanes team this season," she said.
"We'll be watching her World T20 campaign closely from Australia and we can't wait for her to arrive in Tasmania."
Hurricanes Women get their WBBL|04 season underway on December 1 in Melbourne against the Perth Scorchers.
From there, they play two matches at West Park in Burnie on December 8 and 9 before a Carnival Weekend of WBBL at Blundstone Arena on December 15 & 16.
