HURRICANES INDIGENOUS XI

Having hosted the competition for the first time last year in Latrobe, the Indigenous T20 Cup moves into it's third year and on the road again as this November the Hurricanes Indigenous XI will head to Orange in NSW to face the Sydney Thunder Indigenous XI from Wednesday 27 - Thursday 28 November 2019.

The Hurricanes are seeking applications for individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and would like the opportunity to put themselves forward to be a part of the Hurricanes Indigenous Squad for 2019/20. 

As the Hurricanes strive to deliver more activities in the community all members selected for the Hurricanes Indigenous XI will be asked to commit to a minimum of 10 hours volunteering in the community to support the development of cricket in some way.  This could be through supporting and coaching at a local clubs, volunteering at a local Woolworths Cricket Blast Centre or supporting a new project in your local areas. 

Nominations for application close on Sunday 15th September and trials for the Hurricanes Indigenous XI will be held on Sunday 22nd September 2019.

Any players old and new, must nominate to have the opportunity to be included in the 2019/20 Hurricanes Indigenous XI squad
