Former Sydney Thunder player in BBL|01, Dunk moved down south from the Sunshine state last season after picking up  Hurricanes and Tasmanian Tigers contracts. Born in Queensland, The 26-year-old wicket-keeper batsman was unable to force his way into a strong batting line-up despite some solid contributions for his club side Glenorchy.  With the number one gloveman role going to Tim Paine, Dunk will be looking to get into the side as a specialist batsman.

A star performer on the way through junior cricket and good enough to go to the 2005 World Youth Cup, Ben is a massive basketball fan and sees LeBron James as someone he would love to meet. He enjoys listening to a variety of music before games, and looked up to Michael Slater as his hero growing up, although his favourite moment was Adam Gilchrist smashing 100 from 57 balls against England.
