  • Hurricanes Look for 4 in a row

    4/1/2013 10:54 AM   Article

The Hobart Hurricanes will clash with the Adelaide Strikers in their third home match for BBL|02 tomorrow night at Blundstone Arena, Bellerive from 7.00pm.

The boys in purple will hope to continue their winning streak at home against the Strikers who arrived in Hobart yesterday following a loss to the Melbourne Renegades at Etihad on Wednesday night.

A win at home will get the Hurricanes one step further towards a semi-final spot, with the Hobart Hurricanes currently sitting at third in a close competition.

International recruit Scott Styris has missed the last two clashes due to New Zealand cricket commitments but will be back and will replace Michael Hogan in the 13-man line up.

Gates will open at 1.45pm at Blundstone Arena, Bellerive tomorrow with the action starting at 2.30pm when Cripps Tasmanian Roar take on Queensland Fire in a T20 clash before the Hurricanes play.

The team’s first two home match saw over 12,000 fans flood through the gates, and with the weather forecast for tomorrow looking good, fans are urged to pre-purchase to avoid queues.
